3 Provision to a third party

(1) Provision to a third party

We do not provide the acquired personal information to a third party except in the following cases.

  • When prior consent is obtained
  • When permitted by the Personal Information Protection Act and other laws
(2) Subcontractors

We may disclose or provide the acquired personal information to our subcontractors only to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use. In such cases, we will conclude a confidentiality agreement with the subcontractor and supervise the subcontractor strictly to ensure the appropriate management of the customer’s personal information.

(3) Shared use

The personal information acquired may be shared among our group of companies within the scope of the purposes of use described in “2 Use of personal information” in order to provide comprehensive services. In the case of joint use of personal information, the person responsible for the management of personal information shall be SHINKOSHA Co., Ltd. Our group strictly manages the safety of personal information under a common personal information protection policy.

4 Appropriate management of personal information

In order to prevent the leakage, loss, or damage of personal information acquired, and to manage its safety, we will take the necessary and appropriate security measures based on our personal information protection policy. In addition, we will educate our officers, employees, and other related parties on the proper handling of personal information.
